Inspiration for our new studio
We’re both really excited to move into our new, bigger studio.
We’ve spent some time scouring for inspiring studio ideas and pinning them in her studio folder on Pinterest. A few of the things we’d like to incorporate into the new studio are feminine objects, unfinished wood, pretty and functional storage, as well as some of our signature bright pastels. Since the space itself is so industrial, it makes sense to have a mix of masculine and feminine, while keeping everything very bright.

I love #3 – it could totally be your studio, with the high unfinished ceilings and that open space and natural lighting! I love the minimalistic cubbyhole shelving juxtaposed against the vintage pieces, flowers, and wicker baskets – a really lovely balance of feminine and functional :)

We have very similar shelving already, though nothing that big. It’s wonderful. I only wish our cutting table were not so ugly, but it is very functional so we’ll keep it.

I love this collection of studio inspiration. I just remodeled my own studio and the energetic charge to my craft and projects was amazing. Here is to a wonderfully productive year, doing what we love!

What a nice mix of roccoc-ish chair, with raw wood, with modern lamp, foo dog..all elements I have been re-arranging in my studio too!
I think one of the things that makes this so successful, is there is Space between all your storage. Its not just lined up floor to ceiling with stuff, there is air in between so you can actually see it.
Kinda like writing in paragraphs!

Gracious me, they are stunning! I am currently trying to work out how to set up my sewing space and these are some great ideas. The cubby shelving looks great. Am in love with the A-frame desk iddea too!

Oh oh oh I want a sewing room like these! I’m currently sewing in my bedroom, cramped up next to my bed, and it’s workable but awful!

That collage has always appealed to me. I don’t have very many walls where I could do something that big, though.

I finally started creating a sewing space (even though it’s shared with my husband) for myself. It’s taken me years to get back into sewing, and without a proper space, I never felt like I could spread out. Just picked up an old cutting table that’s padded and obviously custom made. Yah!
While I’m still organizing and building my space, I’ve been looking for a steam press. I currently use an old Rowenta iron (made from Germany) that’s okay but starting to fade. I’ve been researching, and I just can’t decide. Any recommendations on how to equip my pressing station?
