Her Posts about the Project: Beignet and Jasmine
What kind of fabric did you use? I used denim with a slight stretch for the Beignet with the facings in quilting cotton (for size 2 you can get all the facings out of one fat quarter!). For the Jasmine I used a yellow floral cotton.
How did you decide to reflect your personal style in the pattern? I like incorporating colour into my wardrobe hence the yellow floral top. But, at the same time I know that there are days when I feel more comfortable in something more classic. Using the green buttons on the Beignet was my way of trying to combine the two styles in one item.
What thoughts do you have about the project? I love wearing this outfit – it is so lovely to sew something that makes you instantly feel good when you put it on. The two patterns sew up like a dream and I will definitely be making more of both.
Thanks, Zoe!

What a lovely outfit! It works brilliantly and I bet you’ll get a lot of wear out of them separately too!
