Spring Palette Inspiration From Clever Nettle

Hello friends of Colette Patterns! My name is Anja (from Clever Nettle) and I’m happy to be sharing my spring palette with you. I’m very new to sewing and am not quite ready for the challenge, but that doesn’t mean that my dream wardrobe doesn’t exist in my head! Lately I have been very drawn to pastels (pink, lilac), muted herbal colors (sage, dry grass) with smoky gray and charcoal accents. The above photo is by Ali Scarpulla, and it contains all of those hues that I love! I don’t think that very girly ensembles suit my look very well (as much as I love them on other people), so I like to offset them with more masculine, non-colors, like the gunmetal oxfords below that I am lucky enough to own. I’m excited to follow along with the challenge and see what people come up with, and in the meantime please enjoy some more images that embody my ideal spring palette!

So much inspiration here. The fabric on the green See by Chloe dress looks amazing.

I really like how you’ve done pale, spring colors but without getting sugary sweet, since that’s not your thing as you say.
