Styling Pastille for Winter

Today I’m highlighting the Pastille dress from The Colette Patterns Handbook. This dress is perfect for all seasons. I think it’d look just lovely in a pretty wool crepe. Layer it with a fun sweater or frilly jacket. One of my favorite things about this dress are the horizontal pleats across the bottom. What would fabric would you use for the Pastille? How would you wear it during the winter?

Hello!
That’s my very first comment here after a long time only reading this blog. I’m so excited about your patterns and the lovely new book! I made Meringue and Jasmine and both came out so well, it’s amazing.

I would style Pastille in green: I’m thinking about a soft green one (or a kind of silky green tartan) with dark green boots and a poppyred cashmereloop ….perhaps with a pair of cuffs or a little sweater in a darker green. Would also be perfect for Christmaseve….

Warm greetings to You all!
I.
