Kenn and I are headed East in April and would love to meet you guys! We always have a ton of fun meeting people at these parties, and it’s a really good chance to schmooze with your fellow sewists too. We’ll have samples, food, drinks, and fun!

We’ll be in Boston at Grey’s Fabric on April 6 for a little party that Sarah at Grey’s is calling “Cocktails with Colette”. We’ll be meeting, greeting, sipping, and snacking, and you’ll get 15% off everything that evening, and 20% if you wear a Colette Pattern! Here are the details:

Saturday, April 6, 5:00 – 7:00pm (or later)
Grey’s Fabrics
450 Harrison Ave, #63
Boston, MA

RSVP on our events page!

New York

Then, we’ll be headed to New York for a party at Brooklyn General! I can’t wait to visit this shop, since I haven’t been yet. Again, lots of socializing and fun! They are offering 15% off on patterns and 20% off patterns and fabric if you wear a Colette Pattern to the event.

Saturday, April 13, 6:00 – 8:00pm
Brooklyn General Store
128 Union Street

RSVP on our events page!

Finally for the New Yorkers: I’m teaching a short lecture-style class on April 11 at Mood all about sewing with silk! This is sort of a spin-off of the very popular class I did at Sewing Summit on special occasion sewing, but a little more specific. I’ll be talking about silk production, types of fabric, and my favorite tips for working with silk fabrics. Mood tells me it’s already beginning to fill up, so you may want to register now if you’re interested!

You can check out some recent event photos from our last road show here and here. Hope to meet some of you soon!

Oh, how I wish you would make a Midwest stop sometime! Gayfeather Fabrics in Madison, Wisconsin carries Colette Patterns, and would make a lovely little gathering place.
