Congratulations! It looks like it’s imminent here in the UK as you can no longer pre-order it but they’re giving the option to be notified when it’s available. I’ve pre-ordered for a birthday celebration I have planned… Can’t wait to have a look at it! I hope someone’s bought it for my birthday on the 24 November!

What fun – I had it pre-ordered on amazon.com and also had it on my wish list at bookdepository.co.uk – it came up as available three days ago so I cancelled the amazon and bought it from there :) – shipped yesterday, I hope it will be here Tuesday…. I already have fabric lined up for the skirt and a couple of dresses – and I just know I am going to be inspired and learn a lot from this lovely book :)…
I will give it a review on amazon where I am one of these vine voices – such a shame that since I’m nto in the US I don’t get books sent to me to review but who cares – I already know it will be a five star review.

I just realised my amazon pre-order had been cancelled, but they didn’t email and tell me : ( I only realised when I was checking an order I’m waiting for and it had disappeared ! Its a bummer ’cause amazon UK was offering free shipping to Australia, but I’ll get it from the book depository instead I reckon, can’t wait!

I had the same cancellation email from amazon.co.uk – but just went over to amazon.com and ordered off there instead. Had to pay extra for delivery but I live in Norway so it’s probably more than for the UK…and it’s better then not getting it at all :) I just can’t wait for it to be delivered now, exciting!!

Guys – bookdepository may have been takn over by amazon but so far their service is the same as it was. I have had the book in my wish list there for ages and as so often happens it was suddenly available before it was on amazon.
They ship FREE and are pretty reliable so go for it! When I got it it said “usually available within 48 hours” and they shipped after two days so there you go….

Is there any way we can get it in Belgium too without having to pay loads of transport-costs (or having to wait 13 to 30 business days)?
I was hoping to bet it for my birthday but as that’s in 2 weeks I guess that won’t happen :o/

My copy from bbok depository says that it is processing so hopefully it will get posted this week. Can someon etell me how much fabric I need for the scalloped skirt. I have seen some great fabric and it is on special until Wed this week so would love to get it while it is cheap

Since I live in Sweden, the shipping rate is was high. So it’s nice to be able to buy the book here, and get so many nice patterns from it!
And as you may’ve understood, I’m buying it myself even if the library is goint to get it. I am sure this is a book you want to own yourself.

Woohoo! I pre-ordered mine on bookdepository.co.uk last week, and the next day received a shipping email.
They will charge in several different currencies, and free shipping to 45? countries, so definitely worth looking at if you don’t live in the US (or even if you do ;-)

My blue folder was empty. It was so disappointing to read through all the lovely projects and get to the folder and come up empty handed. I checked through all the packaging, and did the shake test with the book, but I’ve got nothing. I’m hoping Amazon can resolve this. :(

I’ve had problems like this before with orders from bookdepository and amazon.com – and they were always really good about replacing. amazon.co.uk’s customer service isn’t so prompt and good but it’s still ok. So even though it sucks and I hope mine turn up when my book eventually arrives – don’t worry….

I would love to have a copy of the wonderful book and patterns. I love the Peony Pattern because it looks simple but elegant. I attend a lot of weddings and would love to add this to my pattern collection. I always look for a simple pattern to make. I also started making dresses to sell to help my widower Dad and my siblings. I also started to teach our 11 year old daughter to sew which, she loves! Our four year old will eventually follow our footsteps because she is already showing interest in sewing! God bless!

I had this ordered through Book Depository and last week I had an email to say that it was ready to be posted. However overnight my order was cancelled and I was refunded – apparently no longer availabale even though I had ordered it as soon as I heard about the book from here. Very upset as book Depository gives free shipping to New Zealand – Shipping from Amazon is another third of the cost again
