As many of you know, we’re releasing two brand new patterns for Fall in less than a week (next Thursday). In fact, they’ve already started shipping to many of our wonderful retailers around the world! I can hardly believe it.

To celebrate, we’re going on tour! Starting September 15, we’ll be having events in Seattle, Vancouver BC, Portland, Oakland, and Los Angeles hosted by some of our favorite fabric shops. Each of these stores is full of amazing, warm, awesome people, so come out and support them and get the new patterns!

There will be discounts, giveaways, snacks, and lots of socializing! We’ve done a few events like this in the last year and they are always a ton of fun.

To see links to more details and RSVP, visit our events page.

I hope to see you in Seattle, Vancouver, PDX, Oak-town, or LA!

Not coming to Sydney, Australia? Darn it! Can’t wait for the new patterns. I am sure your tour will be a huge success.

Can’t wait for the new patterns too … thanks girls !

Is a sneak peak of the new patterns coming soon? So curious!!

So. Freaking. Exciting. Colette in Vancouver?!?! This news made my morning!

I bet one of them is the swingy coat that you drafted for yourself for one of the challenges. I’ve read this blog long enough…

Janice Bear

I’m only mostly jealous of your party-hosting cities. Can’t wait to see what iscoming out this fall!

See you in Oakland!!!

awww man! just in time for me to have moved to Montreal (I’m from Vancouver; Spool of Thread is the best!!)

have fun!

Yay!!! So excited to have you back in LA!!!

Next time swing by Fresno (inbetween LA and Oakland) I’m opening a new Craft and Sewing Studio Oct. 6th!

Can’t wait to see the new patterns! Sigh… I may live in the “entertainment capital of the world” (AKA Las Vegas) but these wonderful sewing meeting never seem to occur here! LOL! I hope everyone has a great time, I’m jealous!

I’m so excited! I’m gonna be at the Vancouver one & trying to get my mum to come out too (she has admired all my Colette patterns & the book) Can’t wait to see the new fall patterns! :)

The hardest part is deciding which Colette pattern to wear! lol

When are you coming East…?

We’re aiming for Spring… maybe April?

I will lobby right now for coming to Baltimore!

I look forward to your visit to the East Coast… spring seems so far away~ Hopefully somewhere near NYC can be included.

i live in sonoma county so i will see you in oakland!!

Yay! I can’t wait to see you at A Verb For Keeping Warm , just a few blocks from my house! Overjoyed!

Can’t wait for the patterns to come out! West Coast is unfortunately a bit far for me (live on the wrong west coast – west coast of the UK), but I look forward to seeing some of the pictures.

Can’t wait to be at PDX! perhaps a NE Alberta cocktail hour may ensue a la Tin Shed or Radio Room!

That sounds lovely! Or Bye and Bye.

I’m so excited to see you in Seattle! BTW, come to the NW hungry because there’s a Food Truck Rodeo from noon to 7 on 9/15 at South Lake Union! I know you’re already going to be super busy that day, but the Food Truck Rodeo’s are always a blast. :) If not that, then I’d highly recommend a champagne (or absinthe!) cocktail at Gainsbourg just down from Made Sewing Studio.

When you add new patterns, do you pull older ones? Just wondering if there is anything I need to buy this week before it disappears!

So far they have all remained up as far as I know (I’ve been following CP for a while)

Thanks! I just purchased my first 2 patterns & can’t wait to get them. Didn’t want to miss out on anything that might be going away!

We don’t! In the coming months (and going forward), we may be putting a select few patterns out of print, but we’ll have them available as digital downloads regardless. So they won’t really go away. :)

Thank you so much for the information!

You are coming to A Verb, my neighborhood shop, the one weekend I’m out of town! How am I going to show off my two hazels… or peony… or crepe??

maybe one day in France ?

London maybe…?

betty jordan wester

signed up for Oakland! Can’t wait to see the new patterns!

If you ever decide to come to Chicago, I’ll be waiting with bells on!! I’ve been so busy the last six weeks or so, I haven’t had a moment for sewing until this past weekend, and had no idea some of the older patterns were going out of print. I’m glad to hear they will at least be available to purchase as downloads. I can’t wait to see the new Fall patterns, and I’m hoping at least one of them will go with the Lady Grey, since that’s my big upcoming project!

Agh, sadness swept over the land! I wish I could make it to your LA event, but alas, I work in the evenings now. :( I’ll just have to wear my Licorice to work and be there in spirit.

Vogue Fabrics in Evanston and Chicago carry a lot of independent patterns…but they are the same ones, have been for years. I’d like to see more **new** independent patterns. I’d probably buy more of the independent patterns if I could touch them with me own hands! Email me if you want a Vogue Fabrics contact….let’s make the magic happen!

I’ve noticed the Needle Shop in Bucktown carries Colette Patterns, they don’t seem to have the type of fabric deals one can find at Vogue though.

Woohoo! Can’t wait to see you guys in Vancouver!

Hi! Looking at the dates, will you be at A Verb in Oakland on Saturday the 21st or Sunday the 22nd of September? I was trying to bookmark the date in my calendar and saw a discrepancy. Thanks!

Viviana, this event was in 2012. Sorry for the confusion!
