West Coast Tour! Coming to Seattle, Vancouver, PDX, Oakland, and Los Angeles

As many of you know, we’re releasing two brand new patterns for Fall in less than a week (next Thursday). In fact, they’ve already started shipping to many of our wonderful retailers around the world! I can hardly believe it.

To celebrate, we’re going on tour! Starting September 15, we’ll be having events in Seattle, Vancouver BC, Portland, Oakland, and Los Angeles hosted by some of our favorite fabric shops. Each of these stores is full of amazing, warm, awesome people, so come out and support them and get the new patterns!

There will be discounts, giveaways, snacks, and lots of socializing! We’ve done a few events like this in the last year and they are always a ton of fun.

To see links to more details and RSVP, visit our events page.

I hope to see you in Seattle, Vancouver, PDX, Oak-town, or LA!

I bet one of them is the swingy coat that you drafted for yourself for one of the challenges. I’ve read this blog long enough…

Can’t wait for the patterns to come out! West Coast is unfortunately a bit far for me (live on the wrong west coast – west coast of the UK), but I look forward to seeing some of the pictures.

I’m so excited to see you in Seattle! BTW, come to the NW hungry because there’s a Food Truck Rodeo from noon to 7 on 9/15 at South Lake Union! I know you’re already going to be super busy that day, but the Food Truck Rodeo’s are always a blast. :) If not that, then I’d highly recommend a champagne (or absinthe!) cocktail at Gainsbourg just down from Made Sewing Studio.

When you add new patterns, do you pull older ones? Just wondering if there is anything I need to buy this week before it disappears!

Eileen

So far they have all remained up as far as I know (I’ve been following CP for a while)

We don’t! In the coming months (and going forward), we may be putting a select few patterns out of print, but we’ll have them available as digital downloads regardless. So they won’t really go away. :)

If you ever decide to come to Chicago, I’ll be waiting with bells on!! I’ve been so busy the last six weeks or so, I haven’t had a moment for sewing until this past weekend, and had no idea some of the older patterns were going out of print. I’m glad to hear they will at least be available to purchase as downloads. I can’t wait to see the new Fall patterns, and I’m hoping at least one of them will go with the Lady Grey, since that’s my big upcoming project!

Agh, sadness swept over the land! I wish I could make it to your LA event, but alas, I work in the evenings now. :( I’ll just have to wear my Licorice to work and be there in spirit.

Vogue Fabrics in Evanston and Chicago carry a lot of independent patterns…but they are the same ones, have been for years. I’d like to see more **new** independent patterns. I’d probably buy more of the independent patterns if I could touch them with me own hands! Email me if you want a Vogue Fabrics contact….let’s make the magic happen!

I’ve noticed the Needle Shop in Bucktown carries Colette Patterns, they don’t seem to have the type of fabric deals one can find at Vogue though.

Hi! Looking at the dates, will you be at A Verb in Oakland on Saturday the 21st or Sunday the 22nd of September? I was trying to bookmark the date in my calendar and saw a discrepancy. Thanks!
