Her post about the outfit: Ginger Post and Violet Post

What kind of fabric did you use? I used a black and white gingham cotton for the Violet blouse, and a grey suiting blend from the Ginger skirt.

How did you decide to reflect your personal style in the pattern? I wanted to do the patterns in something comfortable and that I could mix and match with other items in my wardrobe. Ginger needed to be work appropriate, but comfortable, and the gingham print that I used for the Violet blouse was a fun design that I wouldn’t normally be able to find ready made.

What thoughts do you have about the project? Both items were so easy to make and are great staples for my closet. This was the second time that I made Ginger, and what will be the first of many for Violet.

Such a cute combination! Gingham makes everything better. I have made around six gingers so far (kinda lost count!) but this grey one is making me think I may need another. I like this as an office appropriate combo that still has personality, great work!
