Colette Company Field Trip!

colette-company-field-trip-sauvie-island02

We went to Sauvie Island to pick peaches and blackberries!

This amazing island is just 30 minutes north of our office. You can pick fruit, veggies and flowers here, or bypass the manual labor aspect and just buy from markets. We wanted to spend some quality time together, so we opted for U-Pick.

Those peaches are so gorgeous! I don’t think I’ve had an Oregon peach in a blue moon.

Looks like a fun day out! The peaches and blackberries look massive. I have blackberries in my garden as well, so just love them.

Thank you for those beautiful images. I lived on Sauvie Island decades ago (1973-78) and I have luminous memories of that place that are precious to me. Your pictures capture some of what I remember.

This is perfect. I am going to start compiling my list of places to see when I “finally” get to Oregon. Someday soon I hope.
Beautiful pictures.

We were just at that same farm on Sauvie Island – and I took an almost identical photo of the zinnia plant marker ;)
