An interview and giveaway
There’s a short little interview with me up at Wardrobe Refashion, where I was a former pledge in 2007/2008. I love Wardrobe Refashion, so it was really fun to visit again!
I’m also giving away a pattern, so click on over… all you have to do is comment there saying which pattern you like best for a chance to get it!

hi Sarai, I don’t think I’ve ever left a comment on your blogs but I’ve been reading and enjoying them for quite a while now. I just wanted to say that I really liked the interview, I agree with everything you say.
I’m at a point in my life where I still go to cheap fashion shops but increasingly feel guilty about it or -in most cases- looking at the item closely think that I could make it myself, and that I really should make it myself. Putting long hours of work in a piece makes you realize how far off our perception of value for things is these days…
Well, I just meant to say it was great to read what you think on this as I feel you’re a bit further down the line of actually following your convictions.
I also wanted to say that I really like your patterns and the whole feel of the website and everything. I wish you all the best!

Hello!
I am one of the lucky winners of your parfait pattern. Thank you for sending it so quickly. It’s lovely and I look forward to sewing it. I’ll have to work up to it a bit as I’m a nascent seamstress, but patterns like your dress are inspiration to keep improving. Thank you again,

Hi — Just lost my husband of 63 beautiful years in February of this year. I’d like to sew this shirt for my grandson currently living in town. It has been a while since I’ve had anything masculine around this house and I’d enjoy sewing a pattern for men.
Love love your tutorials!
