Attention Portlanders (and those nearby)!
So, I was thinking. It might be fun to have some kind of event in the next few months. I don’t want to say too much yet since it’s still in the planning stages, but it’ll be a fun, celebratory, mainly social event. Just a chance to hang out, maybe have some food and drink. Maybe do a fabric / notions swap. Something like that.
I thought I would check in with you guys ahead of time and see if you’d be interested in such a thing? Or in other local events we might plan?
If you think you might be interested, I’d love it if you’d add your name / email to my list of locals! That way I can contact you with details later without crowding up the blog too much.
This list is just for us to announce occasional local events, we won’t send you other emails. I imagine you won’t get more than a handful of emails a year, if that. Also, there will be a link in every email to unsubscribe if you move or decide you don’t want to hang out with us.

I’m not a local (yet) but my husband travels there a few times a month for work, and we are working on moving there permanently, so I hope that’s ok to join the list!

What a fabulous idea! I’ve been in Portland for a year now, but it still feels like I just moved here there are so many fun things I discover every day. And of course I would love to make some more crafty friends!

It will be fun to come for a fabric/notion swap event. Being a mom to a three year old I would prefer a weekend so my husband can baby sit my kidoo.
