Macaron Sewalong and Giveaway!
Harts Fabric is having a fun sewalong this month using our lovely Macaron. Once you submit a photo of your final creation, you’re entered to win three of our patterns!
the details
- Order your fabric, pattern and notions from Harts Fabric. For a 10% discount write “for macaron sew along challenge” in the comments section on the end of your order.
- Email a photo of yourself in your Macaron dress to Amy @ hartsfabric.com before August 5th.
- All photos will be uploaded to their Facebook page where the winner will be determined by the most likes.
If you participate in the sewalong, please be sure to also post photos in our Flickr group or in our forum so we can see your lovely creations!

…unfortunately Harts fabric doesn’t ship to other European countries than the U.K. or else I would have loved to participate.

That’s a bummer, but I don’t think you have to buy from Hart’s to participate. Unless I missed something? I hope you don’t, anyway!

Just to clarify, to be to entered in the contest to win the three patterns you do have to purchase your supplies through http://www.hartsfabric.com and we will give you a 10% discount. if you would just like to make your own dress from your own fabric you will not be entered to win but we would still love to see your photos. If you follow our blog we will still be happy to help you with any questions or concerns regarding your own construction process. We love seeing projects! Hope that clears up any confusion! It’s not really a sewalong though, more of a macaron contest, no? It doesn’t look like there will be any progress posts, just a bunch of pics of finished items.
I’ve had the pattern for months now but really need a push to get sewing it :)

I’ve spent the whole day browsing hartsfabric.com. Now that I’ve been looking and planning all day, I can’t get the picture of the dress I want to make out of my head! I need to buy everything except the contrast fabric. I wonder if that would disqualify me from winning? I’ve been dreaming of using this bit of fabric for something, and I’ve finally discovered what it wants to be!
